Welcome to my 30 day Challenge!
I thought this would be a great way to start the New Year. Why not start 2018 with a new look on clean eating and fitness? This is great for all levels especially if you need a reset. I received a few requests to start a challenge so here it is.
The goal is to eat clean with no processed foods along with no added sugar.
Let’s go 2018!!!
1)Lean organic meat, Chicken, fish or turkey etc. I no longer eat meat, so if you’re vegetarian or vegan you can eat beans, vegetables, hemp seeds, chia seeds, vegan protein powder, lentils and the list goes on.
2)Vegetables, Try to eat a big salad daily! Buy organic vegetables
3)Organic fruit
4)Drinks, Water, Water, Water! You can aim for a gallon or drink half your body weight in ounces. You can also incorporate smoothies and green juices. Black coffee with stevia and almond or coconut milk. No diet soda. Unsweetned teas are okay in moderation. NO ALCOHOL!!!
5) Nuts, cashews, walnuts, peanuts etc,
6)Fats, olive oil, coconut oil and avocado
7)Sleep 8 hours per night. I struggle with sleep but I try my best.
8)If you need help with counting calories or tracking how much you’re eating use apps like myfitnesspal.com
9) Exercise 3-5 days per week for 30 minutes minimum. You can go for a walk, run, jog or do a workout video. I can give you workout ideas if you email me @ simplynita10@gmail.com
10) Let’s stay AWAY from starchy carbs, instead and white potatoes, you can try a small sweet potato.
11) Meal Prep for a few days or for the week. Ex: Overnight oats for breakfast. These last in the fridge for a few days, Baked lean meat, asparagus and a small sweet potato. Substitute to your liking.
12) NO SWEEETS!
