This post will show you how I styled my coffee table and give a few tips on how you can style yours. I moved recently and this is one of the first things I’ve styled completely. Decorating a new home is so exciting. The first thing I needed to do was decide on a table. I didn’t want the table to take up too much space. I decided on the Echelon Round Coffee Table from Crate & Barrel. It goes perfectly with my sectional sofa. https://www.crateandbarrel.com/echelon-round-coffee-table/s586998?st=Echelon%20Round%20Coffee%20Table&ta=echelon&rac=p4 It’s very simple and can look blah depending on how it’s styled. Styling made a big difference in the look of the table. Here are some tips below.
- Add height with a vase, plant or any unique piece that fits your personality.
- Add a candle.
- Add something with a POP of color or shows texture.
- Stack coffee table books or any set of books that looks nice on the table.
- Add a basket or tray to place all the items in and have fun with placement with styling.
My table has a top and low lining shelf. I decided to place the tray and all the decor pieces on the top. I styled the books on the bottom with a few small decor pieces on top.
The fun thing about styling your coffee table is, you can change things out from time to time. I plan to leave as is for a while but will possibly make a few subtle changes later.
All of the pieces shown are from Target, Home Goods and Amazon. Target has great clearance finds. Home Goods always have low prices and Amazon is where I purchased 2 of the coffee table books shown. You can search coffee table books here. https://www.amazon.com Reading is a part of my everyday life so having beautiful and interesting books at the same time excites me.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Any interesting objects you styled your coffee table with?
I will be showing how I decorate my home on posts to follow.
Have a fabulous week!
Nita
